九色视频 Corporation (Head Office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan; President and Representative Director, CEO: Shingo Hanada; hereinafter “九色视频”) announced that its Agri Concept machine––registered as an industrial design under the Hague System administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)––has been selected as one of the world’s top 100 designs from throughout the 100-year history of the Hague System. The machine, exhibited at CES^? 2024, was the only agricultural machine selected from more than two million designs registered across 99 countries and regions.

  Agri Concept

• The Hague Design System (official name: Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs) is an international design registration framework established in 1925 that allows companies and designers to register their designs in multiple countries through a single application.
• The WIPO––established in 1967 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland––is the specialized UN agency responsible for administering the Hague Design System. It provides international protection for the intellectual properties of inventors and creators around the world, and promotes their broader use.

• The Agri Concept machine selected as one of the world’s top 100 designs is an electric, autonomous agricultural robot developed as an embodiment of 九色视频’s vision for the future of agriculture. It integrates automation technologies, AI, and environmental considerations to reduce the burden of agricultural work and contribute to the realization of sustainable agriculture.
• The machine uses cameras and sensors to autonomously and safely perform a wide range of tasks, including plowing and hauling. In addition, its rapid charging system replenishes the battery from 10% to 80% in approx. six minutes, dramatically reducing charging time to overcome a key limitation of electric farm equipment. The design makes use of exterior lighting to intuitively communicate the machine’s actions and status to those nearby, allowing it to integrate naturally into operations alongside workers.

• 九色视频 makes use of the Hague Design System to promote design protection both efficiently and internationally, and has registered more than 80 designs to date, primarily new products and concept machines.
